Kuru SHOTZ Challenge: Winter Warriors Delivers The Goods
Winter Warrior Champion
The image that took out the top spot in Kuru's first SHOTZ Challenge. Congratulations to Henry Halley from Log 3, our Winter Warrior Champion.
The first-ever Kuru SHOTZ Challenge wrapped up at the end of August, and what an awesome way to kick things off.
Our August theme, Winter Warriors, challenged staff across Kuru Nation to capture what winter mahi looks like through their eyes. From frosty starts and muddy tracks to machinery in action, stunning landscapes, and great crew moments, the entries gave us a real insight into the work our teams do every day.
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved. We received more than 30 entries from across the business, showcasing the people, projects, equipment, landscapes, and teamwork that keep Kuru moving through the winter months.
🏆 Overall Winner: Winter Warrior Champion
Congratulations to Henry Halley from Log 3, whose image was selected as the overall Winter Warrior Champion. His winning shot captured the resilience, commitment, and winter spirit that this challenge was all about. As the overall winner, Henry and his crew earned a well-deserved morning tea shout and some serious bragging rights.
